Penny Harbor Log · last updated 7 October 2026

Penny Harbor Log is a free phone app that adds the spends you type into your own Penny Harbor Paycheck Planner, a Google Sheets file in your own Google Drive.

What the app can access

When you tap Set up with Google, the app creates your planner in your Google Drive. It only gets access to that one file (the Google drive.file permission), plus your email address so we can check your licence. It cannot see, open or change any other file in your Google Drive, your email or your contacts.

What the app does with it

It adds each spend you log as a new row on the App log tab of your planner, and reads your currency, your category names and your Dashboard totals so it can show them in the app. Nothing else.

What we store

To check your licence we keep your Google account email address and ID, the dates you used the app, your access code and, if you give it, your Etsy order number. Nothing else about you.

We do not store your spending, your planner or your Google account details on our servers. Your recent spends and settings are kept on your own phone in the app's local storage. Our sign-in helper exchanges Google's one-time sign-in code for a key that is handed straight back to your phone; we do not keep it.

Help and feedback

If you send us a message from Help, ideas and problems, we keep your message, the email you give us (if any), your phone type and the app version so we can answer and fix things. We never receive your spending through it. Ask us at the address below and we will delete it.

Sharing

We do not sell, share or use your data for advertising. Your data goes only between your phone and Google.

Google API Services User Data Policy

Penny Harbor Log's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Removing access

Tap Disconnect in the app's Settings, or remove Penny Harbor Log at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Clearing the app from your phone deletes everything it kept there.
